Excellent sunset and dinner excursion! Theo was a fantastic guide for our evening! He was very communicative prior to the tour to ensure a very smooth pick up. He gave us great tips on the best places in the area for food and drinks, he knew all the great photo stops along the coast and let us stop, take pictures and was a photographer for us as well! He had excellent stories and a wealth of knowledge for history in the area. He timed it perfect for us to catch the sunset from Poseidon’s temple. The restaurant he picked for us was phenomenal. The staff treated us with excellent service and some of the best sea food we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this excursion!

Memorable trip to Meteora My husband and I had an amazing trip to Meteora. In fact, it was one of our favorite tours during our 3-week stay in Greece. We initially debated between booking a group vs. private tour, and we are so glad we opted for the latter. Making a reservation on the Crispy Local website was easy. I was contacted via WhatsApp the day before to confirm our pick-up details. Our driver, Anthony, arrived on time, and he was professional, friendly, and informative. On the way to Meteora, we stopped by Thermopylae and took some pictures of the monument. Then we visited 3 of the monasteries and spent about an hour at each one. Anthony was flexible and accommodating the entire time. After our tour of the monasteries, we had a delicious lunch at a local taverna and headed back to Athens. The drive back to the city was long but comfortable, and Anthony was an excellent driver. Not to mention, he contacted the authorities to inform them of a dog that was running loose on the highway. As an animal lover, I really appreciated his action. Meteroa is a magical place and definitely worth the visit. If you can splurge for a private tour, I highly recommend it. Based on what I've read in other reviews, most group tours tend to return to the Athens bus station around 10:30 pm. However, my husband and I were back at our hotel before 7:30 pm. We appreciated not having to wait around and riding in the comfort of a private vehicle. Overall, we had a wonderful trip.

Great experience Theo was a really great guide and host for our trip to the lake and temple of Poseidon. Very knowledgeable and was able to ensure we avoided the rain!!! ;-)

Wonderful tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Melina was wonderful on our private trip to Delphi.We had an amazing day with her. Her knowledge of history is superb and it meant that our day was full of the classical history we came to Athens to learn about. Her English (and other languages) is excellent. She was also kind and organised and everything was very smooth. I plan to seek her out when we return to Athens and would recommend her wholeheartedly for anyone seeking a high quality trip and experience in Athens. Melina, thank you. ❤️

Stunning View Our driver was Harry and he was a very pleasant driver. He made a side stop to see a hot spring on the way to the monasteries. He wanted to take us to the Great Meteoron but it was closed on Tuesday. The views were stunning with the rock formations. We hired a tour guide for two monasteries and it was good information. We had a good lunch outdoor and it was relaxing. The car was a sedan and the ride was good.

First private tour experience with excellent service. We enjoyed an incredible private tour of the acropolis with our tour guide, Eva. She was highly knowledgeable and made the tour so enjoyable! She also set expectations for us so we knew what was in store and regularly checked on our comfortability which was so kind. This was our first time having a private tour and we were just so impressed with Eva’s service. Thank you so much for a wonderful introduction to Athens!

Magical Delphi Our guide, Melina, was outstanding! She gave us great information on the ride to Delphi so we could enjoy our visit to the ruins and museum upon arrival (not included in the price of this tour). We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the town of Delphi overlooking the Bay of Corinth, a spectacular view and really delicious authentic Greek food. 😍 The scenery along the ride to and from was great .It was a long day which I thoroughly enjoyed! Many thanks to Melina for here knowledgeable guidance and great company.

Hassle free, informative very relaxing and good fun Melina was a great hostess and Driver. It was great we were picked up from our Airbnb which was in Alimos outside of Athens.She had txt us the night before to confirm our pickup time and what to bring for out trip to the Lake etc.We had a great experience at the lake and felt very refreshed after our swim.We proceeded to The Temple of Posideon with stops along the way for photos. Melina was very knowledgeable and knew her history very well which added to out trip.Temple of Posideon was spectacular and has amazing views.We stopped on way back at a fabulous fish restaurant The 4 Brothers where we had a delicious meal with the most tasty fish highly recommended 😋

Everything that was promised - and more! Firstly, the communication from this company was top notch. We were given timely information about our driver and confirmation of pick up time.Our driver respectfully asked for an earlier pick up as it would suit our tour goals better. This was very thoughtful. Our driver (Theo) was thoughtful and considerate, often going the extra mile to point out things and show us other landmarks. He was a wealth of information and local knowledge. His pride in his country and his job was clearly evident.It is clear that this company and its employees value the client. We were pleasantly surprised by the farewell gift - thank you. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful trip into the Peloponnese Again, another well constructed tour of the Peloponnese. As before, timely introduction and updates from our driver (Dimitris) made things go very smoothly.Although Dimitris was a different personality to Theo, he too was demonstrably proud of his country and went to great lengths to demonstrate many of the sites, history, context and events that shaped his history.We had a thoroughly enjoyable day and Dimitris was very pleasant company.Thanks for another great day!

Island hopping in Greece! This all day cruise ship to Hydra, Poros, and Aegina was overall a great trip for my travel goals. It is a very large boat with many passengers that also require pick up so the pick up process was a bit much from hotel to hotel. If given the option, you may want to cab yourself there to avoid the sit on a bus with many stops (and no coffee allowed). I would strongly encourage the VIP lounge. In this space, there is more comfort, personalized service, and snacks/drinks. Kostas and Madonna did a great job personalizing the experience, friendliness, giving tips for the day, etc. They may the VIP service outstanding!!! I would bring your patience as there is line to exit the boat as everyone is trying to disembark at the same time every time. The food was average but it was not advertised as fine dining but there is a large variety. If you travel in VIP, there is sit down experience with staff service. The islands are beautiful and there is a lot to see and do. My goal was photography so I had enough time to get some great shots. I would come expecting that you have a taste of each island but there is not time to stay for the whole experience. Many complaints about not having enough time on the island in the reviews but that is not the point of this cruise. Expect to get a flavor or small taste of the island, food, shopping, which was perfect for me. You spend a fair amount of time under power on the water which is perfect if you love boating and water. Overall, this tour is great for people who love the water, boating, and to get a larger perspective of “island hopping” in the Greek Islands. It may not be for people who do not like being on a schedule or want to really experience an island.For me, it fit the purpose of the day- especially as a solo traveler for the day. Thanks to the crew! It was a great day.

Fresh air, stunning views and a treasure trove of knowledge- our guides knew all the hidden paths and the flora &fauna! Such an amazing experience. We got driven up the mountain- incredible views and drive. And then we did a guided hike. We are not experienced hikers and the guides adjusted to the audience so well. The knowledge, the tidbits, the fun facts, they pointed out so many plants and trees and told us about the animals and bird calls and paced the entire experience based on what we could really enjoy. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves nature and hiking and Greece!

Great guide and fun day. Jason was pur tpur guide he was great! We had a great day. But I will say if you have a thing about fish... the lake may not be your thing. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a ton of little fish nibbling on you. The lake was beautiful and very nice resort. The temple was easy to hike and beautiful. Very windy. Jason took us to an amazing Greek restaurant that was not touristy. Authenticate, with great food. Then he took us on a side trip for a stop we wanted to make on the way back it was so nice. Great day and worth it.

Bravo Crispy Local! Our driver Giorgos was amazing and so knowledgeable. The ride was safe, the vehicle was clean and he was very courteous and made a great suggestion for lunch. Once we got to the ruins we met Vera. She was very bubbly and sweet and made Corinth come alive. She transported us back in time as she was balanced in teaching us about the archeological, mythical and biblical aspects of the ruins! Truly amazing day in Corinth!

Wonderful!! My wife and I used this company as we booked a transfer from the airport to the St. George hotel near downtown Athens. Our driver, Melina, was incredible! The transfer went great! She was there waiting for us at the airport with our name on a placard. The car was new and clean. Melina helped us with our very heavy luggage then gave us bottles of water as soon as we got in. Her English was great and she gave us a lot of really cool information about visiting the area.! We definitely recommend this company and will use them again!

Outstanding company and experience. This was a fantastic experience! Our driver, Theo, was very informative throughout the afternoon, had great suggestions, and in general very fun to spend time with on this tour. We went to a charming seaside restaurant ( 4 Brothers) with beautiful water views for an early dinner before heading to the temple for sunset views. Prior to our trip, we had many questions about logistics and scheduling for this tour, Ioannis answered all of our questions promptly and patiently. We wanted to eat before going to the temple rather than after; customizing the itinerary to accommodate this was no problem. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience with Crispy Local from start to finish. I highly recommend this company, and in particular our driver Theo, if you are looking for a tour company in Greece.

Amazing!! We loved our private day tour of Temple of Poseidon and the thermal lake! Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable (Dimitris) about Athens. We had plenty of time to explore the temple, and also plenty of time at the lake. The food lunch stop recommendation from our driver was perfect! We stopped at a restaurant and had a delicious lunch, and he recommended an amazing place in Athens that we went to following his recommendation. Would highly recommend this trip to others!

Perfect first day in Athens! This was the perfect trip for the first day in Athens. We rested up on the morning and then had a beautiful drive along the coast with George. He grew up in the area and was extremely knowledgeable about local history and events. Sunset at the Temple of Zeus was the highlight, but dinner with an ocean view, seafood, wine, and a gellato stop were also amazing. Thanks for the memorable evening!

A relaxing and unforgetable experience We had a fantastic experience. Harry our tour guide was very friendly, conversational, and made us feel extremely taken care of.We started the trip with a visit to the lake, our tour guide was very patient with us and let us take close to 3 hours at the site, then we headed straight for the Temple of Poseidon, though were offerred the option to stop for a lunch break before (we decided to do so after the temple).The trip was easy, the experience at the lake and temple were unforgetable. Nice cap Sounio family trip Our trip to Sounio was a very nice expérience. We had time to walk around the temple, to enjoy the sun set and Take pictures. Wonderful Private Day Trip to Meteora My friend’s and my trip to from Athens to Meteora was wonderful thanks to Giorgos of Crispy Local. He was so warm and personable, prompt picking us up (in a Mercedes) and was always around quickly to pick up us at every Monastary (a commendable feat). He also took the time to figure out what kind of restaurant we would like in Kalambaka (Greek Gardenia restaurant was perfect for us) and even recommended a small gem museum in town which we liked. We appreciated that he “read” our personalities and offered appropriate suggestions. We didn’t want to be on a typical bus tour with a set schedule; Georgios gave us the customized and comfortable outing that we were hoping for. While much more expensive, we felt it was well worth it and highly recommend Crispy Local for any of your private tour needs.

Melina the best Guide ever! Viator came through again! We went to the museum and the temple of Apollo. Our lovely guide Melina picked us up at our Viking ship, and drove us up and back, roughly a 9 hour excursion . She is so knowledgeable about history, the Greek Gods and knew the where specific artifacts are in the museum. She truly cared about our experience.
