A Must-Do Tour in Athens! We had such a great experience on this tour! The lake was absolutely beautiful and the Temple of Poseidon was breathtaking, especially learning all the history behind it. Our tour guide, Harry, was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and he shared so much interesting information without it ever feeling overwhelming or boring. Everything was very well organized and made for such a memorable day in Greece. We would absolutely recommend this tour, especially if you get Harry as your guide.

A great Experience For Canadian Military and Veterans A great temple for real Canadians to go to, as our P-8A Poseiden (737) are dedicated to Poseiden. This tour group specifically follows tradition in visiting a temple with what would be required to visit temples and bathing in the water of where the temple is built as gaurds. Yellow and Blue colour combinations in Hinduism represents the God Vishnu which is a prayer for long life to Poseiden

Lake Tour The lake was lovely and relaxing but Harry our guide made it a special experience. He is very friendly and informative and took us to a beautiful and delicious restaurant for lunch. The fried calamari was spectacular. We recommend this half day activity that gave us a view of the shore line outside of the City of Athens.

Great tour for the temple of Poseidon and Cape sunset dinner We had an amazing experience with Crispy Local, and Harry was an exceptional tour guide for our trip to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio in Greece. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared the history and culture in such an engaging and enjoyable way. Harry was personable, talkative, and interacted so well with everyone in the group, making the experience feel relaxed and welcoming. He made us feel comfortable from the start, made sure we had water throughout the trip, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner by the water, which made the entire evening even more memorable. You can truly tell Harry enjoys what he does and cares about giving his guests a great experience. We would absolutely recommend Crispy Local and especially Harry to anyone visiting Greece!

Highly recommend! Excellent tour! Shout out to Harry our tour guide and driver for the day! He was very friendly, personable, patient and made sure me and my mom were always comfortable. It was a great experience. Lake was beautiful, ate delicious food and Harry made sure he stopped at a fanastic bakery for Bougatsa de crema so we could try. Thank you for the great experience! Family fun- informative and beautiful! Theo was absolutely wonderful and gave us the best tour of our entire trip. We visited the Temple of Poseidon with our children, ages 7 and 10, and he was incredible with them from the start. When my son mentioned that he loves Greek mythology, Theo told him several myths during the drive, which made the time fly by and made the experience even more memorable. Theo also took us on the scenic route and knew exactly where to stop for beautiful photos along the way. On the drive back, he took us to an amazing restaurant in a small village where the seafood and fried zucchini were unbelievably good. He even made an extra stop for homemade gelato, which the kids loved. We took four different day trips during our vacation, and this was truly the best one. Theo made the day fun, personal, relaxed, and special for both the kids and the adults. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Get away from the busy city We did this on our honeymoon, and it was great to get away from the busy city and relax for a bit. Giorgos (our driver) was very knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating and his car was very clean and new. Definitely worth the price, no complaints, would do again.

Perfect evening on the coast Our family of four loved this experience. The coastal views from Athens to the Temple are stunning. The views at the Temple itself were breathtaking. To top it off our driver Jason took us to a local oceanfront restaurant with great food. As for our driver, he was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. The vehicle was a very nice SUV. This was the perfect way to get outside of Athens and take in the beautiful coast.

A great experience We had a great driver, Dimitris, who commented on the sights we were seeing on the way to the Temple of Poseidon. We stopped for dinner before sunset and had fresh grilled fish, filleted table side. Admission to the Temple was not included in the price of the tour and was 20€. Beautiful views from the top.

A fantastic end to our Greek vacation! Theo was the most amazing, passionate and caring guide. He picked us at our location and drove us to the most stunning locations ( also the secret ones) across the Athens Riviera! We witnessed a breathtaking sunset at Cape Susion admiring the pink, blue and orange colors from Poseidon’s temple. We felt transported to ancient times. The evening concluded with a fantastic fresh wild caught see food dinner at his favorite restaurant in the area. We even got free dessert! One of a kind experience perfectly narrated by Theo! Thank you! We will be back to enjoy many more of your privately guided tours

Good tour…be ready for a lot of stair climbing!!! This was a very nice tour. It was a pretty long 2 1/2 hour drive each way, but we were comfortable in our Mercedes car. Our driver Giorgos was very friendly and shared a lot of interesting information about Delphi and about Greece. The tour of Delphi involved a lot of stair climbing…be prepared! We recommend seeing the museum before you climb the hill to see the archeological sights.

Monemvasia is a hidden gem! It was exactly what I was looking for and I am glad I did this tour. Monemvasia is stunningly beautiful, a true gem. Would recommend seeing. I have been to Athens several times before and had already done the more common day tours. I had always wanted to see Monemvasia but I only had 1 day free and thus this booking was perfect for me. Was picked up on time from my hotel in a clean, comfortable air conditioned Mercedes SUV with charging port for my phone. The drive is long but gorgeous scenery along the way in the Peloponnese with sights of mountains, farms of olive trees and water views. There was enough time for stops including 2 bathroom/ coffee stops. There was a quick stop at Corinth Canal for classic photo stop along with a quick stop at Leonidas statue in Sparta. Ruins at Sparta are sparse, not much there, but it was free and had beautiful vistas. The Olive Oil museum is small but interesting. These stops broke up the drive. But the true highlight was the medieval fortress town of Monemvasia. No cars inside main gate, just a labyrinth of winding streets of shops and restaurants, surrounded by a fortress wall and stunning views of the sea sparkling in the sun, the bluest of colors. Had time for lunch at a restaurant recommend by the driver with one of the most picturesque views overlooking the water that I have ever eaten at, and good Greek food too. Only had 2 hours to enjoy the town so it was short but I am happy I got to see it. The young driver Jason was very friendly, curteous and prompt (and English speaking). He is not a licensed guide so he did not go over history or accompany me on sites, I explored the sites on my own but I was expecting this when I signed up as it was as described as such on tour page. I had just wanted a private driver to get me/to from Monemvasia in a single day and the trip was exactly as promised. Lots of driving for sure, about 10 hours total, but it went by fast and was comfortable drive.

Quality tour experience to Lake Vouliagmeni and Temple of Poseidon with Dimitris We were searching for a private tour option that would allow us a stopover for a swim at Lake Vouliagmeni as well as a visit to the Temple of Poseidon and found it in this experience. The agency was very prompt to respond, the guide Dimitris was amazing, well spoken with lots of knowledge about Greece and also very patient. He was a fantastic driver as well!

George is the best George was our driver and he was so phenom. So knowledgeable and wanted to give us the best tour. He told us so much information and took us to some side spots he thought we would like. We loved George!! The car was also very clean and he was a good driver :)

The BEST option for seeing Meteora in a day! Wonderful! What a full and satisfying experience. I’m certain this would have been super exhausting if we went with a group. A private tour is definitely worth it!! My mom and I were very lucky to have Harry Haridas as our driver for the day. He was great company, very friendly, with lots of stories about growing up in Athens and answers to our MANY questions about Greek history/culture. He never rushed us and made us feel taken care of. The drive didn’t feel too long either, and the views of the countryside are quite beautiful once you leave Athens! Our rest stop was in Thermopylae where the Spartans famously fought the Persians. Meteora is breathtaking. We went inside 3 monasteries (Varlaam, Saint Stephen, and Rousanou). Each one was unique. The crowds were not bad at all in early May! (I wouldn’t recommend going much later in the year - it was already pretty hot but with a refreshing breeze, and not nearly as crowded as we expected.) Remember to bring extra cash for the gift shops which sell icons, honey, dried herbs/teas gathered by the monks and nuns! (But be warned: if you consider buying some of the body oils/ointments, open them up to SMELL them first. I did not and ended up throwing mine away because they were spoiled :( I recommend sticking to the non-perishables.) We stopped for lunch before returning back to Athens, and were very happy with the pre-selected restaurant. My mom and I are vegetarians and found many delicious options. We got back to our hotel around 7:30pm feeling very satisfied. I can’t recommend this experience enough! Thank you Harry!

Very knowledgeable guide Theo was a great guide, full of facts and myths about the sites. A stop for some delicious coffee and iced chocolate was most welcome. The sunset from Poseidon was spectacular. Theo even circled back to our hotel with a left jacket. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Tour! This was a great tour! They communicated clearly, were on time, and the car was comfortable and spotless. Our driver, Jason, was delightful. He filled us in on what we were seeing along the drive and a lot of information on daily life in Athens. Dinner was excellent, and sunset at the Temple of Poseidon is a must!

What an awesome trip! We booked this tour for our last night in Athens with friends. We visited for the Metallica concert and decided we'd go south for the sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. Our driver was Alexandros and he was AWESOME! We couldn't have lucked out with a better drive. We talked about music the entire round trip. We really appreciated the smoothness of the travel, the timeliness of everything including the drop-off at our chosen restaurant for dinner on the way down, and he patiently waited while we enjoyed food and drinks. If you luck out and get Alexandros as your driver, prepare for the most awesome transport of all time! Thank you tons. Your American Metal head fans!

Meteora tour It was a long day but it was worth it! The trip/tour was a great experience. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which made it really easy. The car was very comfortable and our driver was great. Dimitris was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history, economy and daily life in Greece. We definitely learned a lot during our tour. Extraordinary! We embarked on a 7-hour round trip day tour from Athens to the Meteora Monasteries, comfortably visiting 3 of the 6 monasteries, specifically the Holy Monastery of Great Meteoron, Roussanou Monastery, and Varlaam Monastery. The sheer ingenuity of constructing these monasteries on elevated rock pillars is truly remarkable. The lengthy day was well justified, and our driver, Jason, demonstrated exemplary driving skills and provided informative commentary.
