Private tour of the Acropolis I think exploring the Acropolis is much more enjoyable with a guide to actually tell you the history as you walk around. My guide, Anda was great and made the experience much more interesting than if I had just gone to the site alone. She gave some excellent recommendations at the end of the tour and made my time in Greece all the more memorable. I would happily recommend to anyone who is looking into a guided tour

Highly recommend Our guide was so great and knowledgeable about the sites we saw. He didn't rush us along at all. All the sites had so much to see. It was a long day but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend this trip. My youngest was free getting into the sites and the adult tickets were reasonable.

Wonderful tour of Poseidon’s Temple We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Theo! From the very beginning, the service was professional, friendly, reliable, and incredibly accommodating. Theo arrived exactly on time, the vehicle was spotless and comfortable, and we immediately felt that we were in safe and capable hands. What made this experience special was Theo’s genuine hospitality. He was knowledgeable, personable, and clearly proud to share the beauty and history of Athens and The Temple of Poseidon with us. After sunset, Theo found us an amazing restaurant for dinner that was the perfect way to start our holiday in Greece!

A Wonderful Way to Experience the Acropolis We had a private tour of the Acropolis and had such a great experience with our guide, Anda. She was incredibly knowledgeable and did a wonderful job bringing the history to life without making the tour feel like a lecture. What I appreciated most was how attentive and involved she was. She encouraged questions, made sure we understood what we were seeing, and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing her knowledge with us. She was also very sweet and personable, which made the experience even better. You could tell she really knew her history and cared about making sure we got something meaningful out of the tour. We learned a lot and had a really enjoyable time doing it. I would definitely recommend her for anyone wanting to experience the Acropolis with someone knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely pleasant to spend a few hours with. ❤️🇬🇷

Wonderful Experience! Wonderful experience. We had Theo as our guide and he was exceptional. He has amazing energy, is very knowledgeable and was very accommodating. We chose to do the more expensive dinner as it was my 60th birthday celebration and it was lovely. I highly recommend Theo and the company. Communication was also very clear regarding pick up time and what our itinerary was going to be. Don’t hesitate to book and ask for Theo, truly a warm, passionate individual.

100% Book This Trip And Ask For Nathan! Everything about this tour was AMAZING!!!!!My son and I were picked up from our hotel on time by the wonderful Nathan.The transport was prestige, clean and air conditioned.Bottled water was provided and we learnt about Greek history/mythology all of the time we travelled to and from our destinations. Lake Vougliameni was stunning and and completely empty when we arrived at 9.30am(the crowds did start to arrive around 10.30 though so go early!).After a relaxing 2hrs at the lake Nathan picked us up and gave us the option of going straight to the Temple of Poseidon or have some lunch as it was only 11.30 we decided to head to the temple at Cape Sounion. The scenery was beautiful and we stopped along the way for a photo of the landscape.After visiting the temple and checking out the gift shop we headed back to the car park where Nathan was patiently waiting.We decided to have lunch at a local taverna that Nathan recommended before heading back to the hotel and we absolutely loved our experience here.Such friendly,happy staff and the food and wine was all very reasonably priced and delicious.We had fried cheese and stuffed vine leaves for starters and sea spaghetti for our mains.The portions were very generous and we received free ice cream before we left.My son was overjoyed when he received a gift of traditional Greek sweets. My only regret was that we didn’t book anymore tours with this company during our stay(only stayed for 3 nights).It was by far our best day of the trip!

Out of the city Theo was a fabulous driver and was so knowledgeable about everything in the area. He arrived early so we wouldn’t have to rush to see everything. The area was beautiful and he knew just where to stop.

Sunset Trip to Temple of Poseidon. George was a wonderful guide. While it was a group tour, only my daughter and I had signed up. George was so polite, informative, and courteous. Had a wonderful meal at a restaurant he suggested. Beautiful drive along the coast and sunset was spectacular at the Temple of Poseidon.

Neat place to visit We were looking for something different to do while on vacation so we decided to try the thermal spa and lake for a few hours. The lounge chairs and umbrellas were of average price for the area and were clean and in great shape. Access to the lake was great and there were several entrances, including those who might require assistance (we didn’t require assistance so I can’t speak to the use of that equipment.) The temperature of the lake was perfect and little fish swam right up to us and immediately started to feast! It just tickled. If you kept moving you could be free of them. The area is very scenic so it is a very calming place. We didn’t book other services due to time restrictions but enjoyed our time.

Amazing Hospitality Omg! Amazing!!! But the most amazing thing of all was not the 2,500 yr old structure of Poseidon’s Temple, it was Theo!! From the very beginning we were stressed from a horrible trip over here that took longer than 24hrs. We had no luggage, no euros, no nothing. Theo saved the day in every area of our need. I can’t say enough about this guy. I want to tip him but I don’t know how to other than pay pal and I can’t get a pay pal account becouse we lost our card. I have everything but PayPal. Please help me tip him. He deserves every dime!

Mooie en toffe excursie, memorabel! Prachtige excursie van begin tot einde, zeer aangename toffe wijze gids George, heerlijk. Leuke excursie Kaap Sounion, prachtige zonsondergang aan de tempel van Poseidon, aanrader! Mooie landschappen en veel algemene uitleg over Griekenland en over zoveel andere interessante topics. From Athens to Poseidon's Temple and back The booking through viator got a bit muddled but I was able to work directly with the tour group via chat to confirm the pickup location and time. The driver, Mr George, was very engaging, very nice, and very accommodating as we only had 2 groups in our tour. He also shared a lot of interesting information not only about the historic sights we visited but also about modern Greek culture. It was a great way to spend our evening.

Wonderful time We had such a wonderful time, the pick up and drive were fast and comfortable. The Monasteries themselves have been the highlight of the trip. Having our driver able to drop us off and pick us up at the entrances when we were ready made the private trip totally worth it in the heat. Loved it!

Amazing discovery dive and refresher with Orestis Our entire experience was very enjoyable! Orestis is an incredible scuba instructor. He was able to explain everything to me, who is a complete beginner, in a short period of time and we managed to dive for 50 minutes. My partner was also with us but to do a refresher (since he was already certified) and Orestis was able to handle both of us which was great. Our driver, Giorgos was also very kind and a very safe driver. Pickup and drop off was seamless and he even offered us to take us somewhere to eat if we were hungry. Communication was very easy. I would highly recommend booking with this company. I have researched many other services and I’m glad to have chosen this one. Since it was my first time ever scuba diving I was very nervous but Orestis was super easy to work with and very reassuring. You can tell he lives in the ocean and is very passionate about scuba diving.

They provided a door to door, private, personalized, engaging tour in a safe, comfortable vehicle--bonus treat! Can't get this on a big company tour. We definitely will be recommending Crispy Local:)

Perfect evening This was a very enjoyable evening! Dimitris was our wonderful driver. He picked us up on time at our hotel. We enjoyed his wealth of knowledge. We were 2 couples and it was one friend’s birthday. I submitted a simple request and Dimitri’s showed up with gifts for her. The view from the Temple of Poseidon was the best of our 12 day trip. After seeing the sunset we stopped for dinner at a place Dimitris suggested. We were hesitant on the fresh caught fish but it was so delicious! The meal was family style with way too much food at a very reasonable price.

Great experience with family Everything about this tour was great. Our driver, George was on time, engaging and very helpful. When the lake was full, he quickly switched plans to take us to another swimming club. The restaurant he suggested was local and absolutely delicious. It was so much better than driving or taking a big tour. Highly recommend this tour!

BEST TOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THEO We had the lost amazing time work Theo! He was insightful and knowledgeable and have is the best advice on places to go, see, and everything in-between! Not to mention he had an awesome playlist for the drive! He stopped to get us iced cappuccino and told us the history, stopped us to snap shots for us as a couple, and took us for I've cream on the way back! He even gote a gift fort birthday!!

A Perfect Blend of Ancient History, Natural Beauty & Authentic Greek Hospitality Our Lake Vouliagmeni Thermal Spa and Temple of Poseidon Private Full-Day Tour was one of the highlights of our time in Greece, and so much of that was thanks to our incredible driver, Dimitris. From the moment he picked us up, Dimitris made us feel like welcomed guests rather than tourists. He was warm, personable, and an exceptional driver who shared stories and local insights throughout the day. His genuine pride in Greece made every stop even more meaningful. The Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion was absolutely breathtaking. Perched dramatically on a cliff nearly 200 feet above the Aegean Sea, the temple was built around 444–440 BC during the Golden Age of Athens. Dedicated to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, it served as both a place of worship and a landmark for sailors returning home. Standing among the remaining Doric columns while gazing out over the endless blue waters, it was easy to understand why this location has inspired visitors for more than 2,400 years. The combination of archaeology, mythology, and stunning coastal scenery makes it an unforgettable experience. Our stop at Lake Vouliagmeni was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. The natural mineral waters were wonderfully relaxing, but the biggest surprise was the tiny Garra rufa fish that gently nibbled and tickled our feet as we soaked in the lake. It was a strange sensation at first, but quickly became part of the fun and made for plenty of laughter. Surrounded by limestone cliffs and lush greenery, the lake feels like a hidden oasis just outside Athens. To top off an already incredible day, Dimitris recommended lunch at 4 Brothers, a beautiful waterfront restaurant serving incredibly fresh seafood. It turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Greece. The setting was stunning, the staff were wonderfully friendly, and every dish reflected the freshness and simplicity of authentic Greek coastal cuisine. If you’re looking for a tour that combines ancient history, breathtaking scenery, relaxation, and authentic local experiences, this is the one to book. And if you’re fortunate enough to have Dimitris as your driver, you’re in for an unforgettable day. His kindness, professionalism, and local knowledge elevated an already fantastic itinerary into a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

The trip is more than just the destination … Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sounio with Theo. We fully expected the temple of Poseidon to be amazing, which it was, but we also really enjoyed the chance to get out of Athens for an evening and see the beach towns on the way. Had no idea that this is what exists just outside the city. The stop at the seaside restaurant was also one of the best meals we had on the trip with huge portions of vey tasty fresh seafood and a great view. 100% recommend!

Sunset at the Temple of Poseidon One of the best sunsets we saw while we were in Athens! Our driver Dimitris was great, the restaurant he took us to for dinner was amazing, he was professional, spoke to much of the local history and traditions and followed up with just good conversation. We were surprised with a box of local candies at the end of the experience. It was a perfect way to end our trip. If you a great sunset and a great experience… don’t hesitate to book this one!

Our guide Harry made the whole experience wonderful — knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had a great time from start to finish. Watching the sunset over the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio was absolutely breathtaking, and the drive along the coast getting there was gorgeous in its own right.
