GREAT EXPERIENCE. SERENE LAKE. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. If was amazing! Definitely book the spa services at the Lake in advance. Our driver, Anthony, was extremely kind and knowledgeable of the area, giving us great descriptions of the area. An extremely scenic trip and definitely ask for food recommendations from your driver for lunch!!

Worth it just to set the pace and remove any pressure I booked this experience mostly for my parents, as they were really excited to see the monasteries, but my mom has some mobility difficulties. This private trip was the perfect solution, as we were able to go at our own pace, without worrying about any time limit pressures from a group bus trip. Our driver was great! He showed up right at our door perfectly on time and he made us feel so comfortable right from the beginning. He drove safely the entire time and we made it to the 3 monasteries with no issues and plenty of stops and times for pictures along the way. As for the monasteries, they were very beautiful. The whole area is stunning with the mountain formations and then seeing the monastery just right on top was very picturesque. The first one we stopped at was the most assessable, St. Stefanos. There was no stairs to climb to enter it, so my mom had no problem going inside and she really loved it. The second one was Varlaam and it was a bit more challenging. It had a decent amount of stairs that wasn’t too bad, but my mom decided to wait outside rather than attempt it. It was very beautiful inside, and the view from the top was amazing. The last monastery was the Great Meteoron. We got to get some great pictures of it from outside, but unfortunately I didn’t realize that it was closed on Tuesdays so that was my bad. But despite that, my family still enjoyed the entire trip. Be prepared, it’s about a good 3.5-4 hours trip in the van. We got little bathroom break stops along the way which helped to break it up. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was very good and exactly what we needed after such a long day. Overall, this was a great experience. We got to see the monasteries in such a relaxed manner and it was exactly what we needed in order to accommodate my mom’s mobility limitations. Everyone had a great day and we enjoyed our time with our driver the whole way.

Brilliant driver/tour guide with amazing monasteries Our tour guide Dimitris was very knowledgeable and answered many questions we asked him. He opened doors for us, was very professional and friendly, whilst taking us to our destinations in a calm and relaxed drive. He was prompt on arrival, always gave clear instructions on where he would wait for us and how long. He is a great asset to your company. So please thank him again for us.

Great 3 hour private tour. Great private tour with Nicolette. The 3 hours was a perfect length of time in the heat. Nicolette was informative , interesting and clearly very enthusiastic and passionate about her subject.We particularly enjoyed her manner of explaining the artifacts in the museum. I would throughly recommend this tour.

Last minute change was memorable! We had to make a last minute change in pickup from the airport due to a last minute taxi strike. Our travel agent booked us with This company. Quote a steep cost, but what else are you to do? Great communication to give us assistance with our pickup. George was standing there with our name waiting. He was an amazing driver. Provided us so much information about Athens and Greece while we drove to our hotel. Very relaxing after a very long flight. Thank you George!

Olive Oil and the countryside! The Corinth + Olive Oil Tasting tour was a real treat. The ride out to Corinth was relaxing and it was really neat to see some smaller towns outside of Athens. The olive oil farm and tour was the real star. It felt like a boutique experience and the local olive oil was delicious. Great experience away from busy Athens.

So Worth It! I’m so glad we decided to do this. A private driver in a comfortable car, an hour and 20 minutes to the coast and the temple of Poseidon. The sunset was gorgeous! The dinner that was arranged for us was is in a restaurant across the water with a view of the temple lit up at night. The meal was wonderful. The driver was very courteous & on time. Arrived back in Athens about 10:30 in the evening.

The Perfect Day in Greece! My husband, daughter and I had the best time with Melina on our private full-day tour of Lake Vouliagmeni and Temple of Poseidon. The Lake is definitely worth seeing, and we enjoyed swimming, having a “spa” with all the little fish and we had great drinks and a snack too. The Lake has a lot to offer and is set up like a resort. After Lake Vouliagmeni, Melina drove us to the Temple of Poseidon. During the times we were in the SUV, Melina would tell us stories, history and information about Greece and the places we were visiting. After the Temple, Melina had arranged for us to have lunch at a place near the sea. The food was incredible and it was our favorite meal in Greece! The fish was so fresh and perfectly prepared. Melina is very knowledgeable and kind. She did a great job and we would highly recommend Melina and this tour!

A Great Evening in Athens! Our sunset visit and dinner at Cape Sounio was a highlight of our visit to Athens. Our guide Harry was the BEST!! By the end of the evening it felt like we were spending time with a friend - we will definitely be requesting Harry the next time we are in Athens. We loved this experience and highly recommend it!

Make sure you visit Cape Sounio with Theo! My fiance and I took the private tour to Cape Sounio to see the temple of Poseidon during our trip to Greece..Theo was absolutely wonderful and a fantastic guide. He was very patient (we were slightly delayed due to our bags being lost at the airport), very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to a great little seaside family owned restaurant where I got to pick out my fish from the morning catch! He also gave us some amazing recommendations for another restaurant in Meteora when we told him we were headed there next (we went and it was SO GOOD). Such a wonderful experience during our time in Athens, the sunset was gorgeous. Thank you Theo for such a wonderful evening!

7 hours in a car Nice driver and a comfortable ride, but expect to spend over 7 hours in the car. The Meteora landscape is stunning, though the monasteries are packed with busloads of tourists, mostly from Balkan states. The Persian/Spartan battleground stop is not worth it—no real information at the visitor center—though the break after two hours of driving was a nice touch

Great Experience We priced out a Delphi day trip from Athens with Crispy Local and one other company, and Crispy Local was a substantially better price. Our private driver, Melina, picked us up from our hotel and chatted about the city of Athens, history, and mythology — she pointed out landmarks along the way and was generally great. At Delphi, we had a local tour guide from Arachova who took us through the museum and the ruins. Then, Melina picked us up, recommended a delicious lunch spot, and drove us back to the hotel.We normally don’t book private tours but were traveling with our 15 month old toddler and wanted the extra privacy and flexibility. In addition to being good guides, our guides were also very sweet and accommodating to our daughter.

Fantastic day trip! Our driver Victor was very prompt to arrive at our hotel for pickup. He was very nice and pointed out points of interest along our route. We had two hours at the lake. We knew to bring our own towels. You can rent a cabana but be sure to do that head of time. They have lots of lounge chairs though that are included in your entrance fee. That is not covered in the tour price. The drive to the temple is beautiful! Victor stopped so we could take some nice photos. We had an hour at the temple ruins. That was plenty of time. We chose to stop for a late lunch after the temple visit instead of before. Victor was open to our choice to eat after and recommended a very nice restaurant 4 Brothers. We picked out our fresh catch of the day which they cooked for us very quickly and it was amazing!It’s nice chatting with Victor! He is a very nice young man! Highly recommend this tour and guide!

Lovely, private tour to Cape Sounio & Temple of Poseidon Booked a private trip to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon with this operator (Crispy Local), and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The ride was smooth and comfortable, and Harry, our guide, was fantastic.. super friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories about the live in Greece and the history of the country. After exploring the temple, we stopped at a seaside taverna for dinner. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, with a perfect view of the temple in the distance. We were so full afterward that we had to skip the gelato stop, but no regrets!Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking for a comfortable, private tour to this part of Greece :)

Great service!! Haris was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very kind. He even took us to see the stadium and the hill overlooking the city which was not part of the package but because we had told him we hadn’t been he took us. He also gave us a lovely gift which was a bottle of olive oil. I was very happy with the service!! Thank you Haris!!

Steps, Lunch, and a long day made enjoyable Jason was our driver and he did great! It was a long drive plus a lot of walking and he was helpful and made sure we always had water. The monasteries were beautiful. You can go to any you’d like but we let Jason pick 3 for us. Lunch was also great and we stopped for delicious freddo espressos after.

Excellent excursion from Athens Theo was a wonderful guide. He arrived on time and the car was very comfortable. He was knowledgeable and we made multiple scenic stops along the way to Cape Sounio — which was great. Theo was friendly and spoke English very well. He took us to a lovely seaside restaurant for dinner.

Lake Vouliagmeni & Temple of Poseidon day tour Jason our driver picked us up exactly on time to take us to the thermal lake in a very nice and comfortable car with complimentary water. Along the way he gave us interesting information about the local area. When he dropped us off at the lake we arranged a time to meet again but he said not to rush and to enjoy ourselves. The lake was very relaxing and a lovely temperature. The little fishes nibbling on our feet was a fun experience and our skin really did feel good afterwards. After we left the lake we followed the coast along to a wonderful tavern for a delicious seafood lunch that included calamari freshly caught that day! The portion sizes were generous, the prices very reasonable and the service excellent. From there it was a short trip to the temple of Poseidon which has great views from every angle, brilliant for photos! Jason gave us time to explore and visit the shop before returning us to Athens. He even had gifts of olive oil and honey & sesame seed snacks for us which was a very touching surprise. It was a great day trip and I thoroughly recommend it!

Great day with Anda we had Anda as our Private guide and she was wonderful. She spent time getting to know us and seeing what our interests were the Acropolis is a very busy place and she put us in places where we could hear her and discuss our interests. She showed pictures throughout and really made for a very interesting tour we then proceeded inside to the Acropolis museum. We would have been overwhelmed if not for Anda explaining the various exhibits. She spent extra time with us, never rushed us and made for a very, very enjoyable tour.Thank you, AndaWe cannot recommend her enough

Don’t miss this tour and ask for Harry! Our driver, Harry was punctual, provided us waters and engaged in conversation about Greece the entire time. I really don’t know what else he could have done to make the trip better. A sunset over the temple of Poseidon is breathtaking and I highly recommend this trip along with the seaside dinner was fabulous. Talk about dinner with a view!! Wow.

great day with George we had a truly wonderful full day with George today . He drove us from Athens to Delphi, talking and giving us greek information in the whole way.at Delphi, we hired a private guide, Vicky, who was quite informative, and it was definitely worth the extra money. After over two hours at Delphi, we ate at a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view, and then we went to see the caves, which was a really great experience. It is definitely off the beaten trail and requires some bumpy driving but was definitely different and worth seeing. We stopped up at a village. Did some shopping and returned back some 11 hours laterGeorge never rushed us was very personable. Provided us with water conversation and great driving the whole time. Thank you George for giving us a great day.

better late than never our tour got off to a rocky start after someone lost our reservation that we had paid for way in advance.Eventually, they called in a guy who had already worked a big tour in the morning.Elias appeared to try his best to give us a good tour, but he was obviously tired from a long day. we seemed to have hit all the planned places, but had to ask questions about all the foods for some reason they take you to a fish market that smells with no intention of tasting or buying anything thereElias did show us how to read our future from the remnants of our Greek coffeeand how the coffee was madeAll in all we felt it was definitely worthwhile and had a good time

Friendly, prompt, English speaking driver who went out of her way for us. Thank you! Melina was an excellent driver. She was prompt, holding a sign for us after the baggage claim area, and was friendly and went out of her way to tell us interesting aspects about Greece. She even went with us to a local fast food place and showed us how to order the specialities which we brought back to our hotel to eat. Her level of service was more than we expected and we were very happy to have her as our driver and mini tour guide as most of us are first time visitors to Greece.

Visited Acropolis… My guide was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable and explained so many details I would have otherwise missed. She also took into consideration when I got overheated or tired. That presented respect for me and my needs. I would highly recommend!

Temple of Poseidon at sunset Drive to Cape Sounioun and the Temple of Poseidon for sunset. Beautiful drive along the coast from Athens to the Cape. The temple is impressive and the sunset was amazing. One note, the entrance to the mountain top/ temple is not included. It is 20 euros per person. Also the staff at the temple kick everyone 5 minutes after sunset which is a bit disappointing since offer the best colors are post-sunset. I recommend getting there at least an hour before sunset to enjoy your time there and find a good viewing spot to sit.

Private Meteora trip ( pre cruise experience ) My tour to Meteora was absolutely excellent! The guide was amazing—super professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even more special. Meteora itself is breathtaking and truly worth the visit, and having the convenience of a private tour allowed us to choose which monasteries to explore at our own pace. Overall, I highly recommend this experience—it’s a must when in Greece!

Amazing experience! Outstanding views!!! 🥰🥰 Amazing experience!!! The views are outstanding!!! Giorgio was an amazing guide, he knew so much of Greek history, as well as knowledge regarding Meteora’s monasteries. He’s suggestion for food was incredible!!! A place full with locals, instead of the typical touristy traps!! The only thing is that is a long trip to Meteora, but for people with limited time to spend in 🇬🇷 I totally recommend the trip!!!

Fabulous day along the Sounian coast This day trip from Athens up the Sounian coast to Lake Vouliagmeni and the Temple of Poseidan was absolutely fabulous! Our driver Jason was a very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable host, and an excellent driver. He shared his local knowledge of the area throughout the day and stopped at places for some great pictures. The car was very clean and comfortable. He gave us ample time to swim in the lake and explore the Temple. On the way back to Athens He also brought us to an excellent seafood restaurant overlooking the sea. The olive oil & Greek Delight culinary gifts were a great treat. Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful Private Tour This tour was absolutely amazing. We were picked up in a luxury Mercedes SUV, very comfortable for the 4 of us. Our tour guide/driver Theo was fantastic. He spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the areas we were driving through as well as the Lake Vouliagmeni and Temple of Poseidon. He bought us Freddy Cappuccino’s on our way to the sites and took us to a seaside taverna “Delphia” where we picked our fresh fish and squid and was delicious . We were back at our hotel in Athens by 5 pm and the day did not feel long and overtiring, was very relaxing. I highly recommend this tour and especially our driver Theo.
