Lovely afternoon near Athens I went on this tour with my friend in early April 2026 (Greek Orthodox Good Friday actually) and we had a wonderful afternoon with George as our tour guide. He picked us up at our hotel in the afternoon and on our way to the Temple, we stopped once for a wonderful view. It was a gorgeous afternoon to see the Temple of Poseidon with perfect blue skies and the crowds were not too bad so we could get pictures without people in the background. The views of the sea were gorgeous and we really enjoyed our time there. After we left, we stopped for a different view of the Cape and Temple which was beautiful. Our dinner with a view of the sea was really good and we got dropped off at our hotel between 7:30 pm-8 pm so it was a nice five-ish hour tour. George was a great tour guide who answered all of our questions, was great to chat with, gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip, and provided interesting facts about Greece throughout the day. Would recommend this tour to others.

Fun tour in Greece My friend and I had a wonderful experience on our tour with Mr. George. We had excellent communication leading up to our tour. We were picked up at our hotel and had a comfortable van ride. Mr. George was full of knowledge on everything in Greece. It was a beautiful drive along the coastline. Due to Greek Orthodox Easter, the Poseidon temple was closing early. We had ample time to tour the site and view the beautiful coastline. Mr. George took us to a nice seafood restaurant so we could see the sunset. We had a quick stop to see Lake Vouliagmeni which was also beautiful. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour and guide! Our trip to Posieden’s Temple was excellent! Theo was very friendly and knowledgeable.He showed us several amazing local spots along the way, shared stories about the area, and arranged a delicious dinner overlooking the water. We had a great time!

Great Tour to the Temple of Poseidon! We had a great experience at the Temple of Poseidon and the Thermal Spa. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area. In addition, Jason, the tour guide was a great host and did a great job during the trip explaining the area and points of interest. He also found us a great restaurant for lunch.

Lake and Temple review Jason was awesome! The drive was smooth from start to finish. We hit the temple first, which was incredible, and then back to the lake—just like we planned. We had a great time, and I’d absolutely recommend Jason!

Amazing evening!! This tour was absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed every bit of the trip. Theo was an excellent guide and made the drive enjoyable and informative for both adults and children. Dinner by the sea was a huge highlight and then we relaxed as we watched the sun set. At the Temple of Poseidon. 10/10 recommend!!!

A great day trip outside of Athens This tour did not disappoint at all. The sites along the way were breathtaking and the Temple of Poseidon did not disappoint. Loved seeing the combination of a piece of history and the backdrop of the beautiful Aegean Sea together. Theo was our driver and guide. He was a very safe driver and it was a comfortable ride in a meticulous Mercedes. He was also a wealth of information and shared local coffees and lunch spots right on the sea that were amazing. Thank you for an amazing day!

Fabulous day exploring Delphi! Our trip to Delphi was wonderful. Giorgos, our driver, was excellent in every way. He communicated with us before he arrived to pick us up, he was very prompt, he was a safe driver and we learned many things from him along the way. He gave great directions regarding where to buy tickets, seeing the Museum and archeological site, and where to meet him afterward. Lunch was delicious and the views from the restaurant were gorgeous. It was a perfect day.

A wonderful private tour to Meteora with Theo Our trip to Meteora was excellent. The place is beautiful, and the journey was enjoyable. Theo is our guide and he is an excellent guide. The journey to Meteora is a ~4 hour drive, but we chatted with Theo all the time that 4 hour journey didn't feel long at all. He also took care of us very well, and explained lots of background story to us about the places we visited. He gave us enough time to visit each of the three monasteries - that is the benefit of doing private tour that we could determine our own timing and pace. Meteora is magical, very beautiful. Theo also led us to a few great photo spots during the tour. The greek restaurant that he recommend for lunch was also very good. We are glad that we chose this tour. And thank you for the souvenir sweets to my wife as well 🙏 PS. We recommend people who choose this tour to start early (i.e. 7AM) to avoid traffic jam.

great tour Theo was our guide and he made our day just absolutely fantastic. Even though we didn’t get the best weather (rainy, windy) we were able to start the trip with some hot coffee, see some fantastic sights, and end it all with incredible dinner and baklava (my favorite). would recommend this trip to any future athens visitors!!

Book this tour! Geórgios was a fantastic tour guide! His driving was smooth and he made us feel comfortable. The car was immaculately clean and modern. Geórgios kept us engaged with wonderful myths and historical facts as we drove to our different stops. We also were able to ask him many questions about Greek life in genenal and his other recommendations and he shared lots of different things with us. The day ends with a more leisurely time in Nafplio, which was a great end to a day of seeing lots of wonderful archeological sites. We truly recommend this tour and Geórgios :)

Great day trip We were a group of 3 (mother, adult daughter and adult friend) and we had a great time! Theo was very engaging and knowledgeable. He adapted our scheduled based on what we were interested in. The Lake was awesome- I would love to stay longer. Our lunch at 4 brothers was really terrific! And we enjoyed walking around the Temple. Highly recommended!

Incredible day with beautiful drive and special meal! Couldn’t have asked for a better tour! Ioannis was an incredible tour guide and host for the day. The drive was so beautiful, and we learned so much about Greece and Athens. On the way back from Cape Sounio, Ioannis had made us reservations at a local fish restaurant and it was a truly special meal and one our family will remember for many years to come! You can choose your own fresh fish from what was caught that morning. Even my teenager, who only sort of likes fish, said it was one of the best meals he’s ever had. We’re so appreciative that we got to experience it in a place we never would have found if we didn’t get out of Athens! Ioannis was also extremely helpful with other recommendations for while we’re here, so he is just a wonderful host in total! Couldn’t recommend this tour enough - it was the perfect length of time and a perfect day. When we’re back in Athens we’ll look for Ioannis again with a local to guide us!

Lake Vouliagmeni/Cape Sounion Day Trip Review We had a wonderful experience! Mr. George was an amazing driver and shared so much knowledge about the Greek culture. We learned so much from him! The lake itself was gorgeous and very relaxing. We were able to have a lovely lunch on the coastline before heading to the temple as well. Best tour ever! This tour provides spectacular scenery. We were able to go at our own pace, and enjoy coffee and later a delicious Greek lunch right on the ocean. Our driver (Theo) attended to all our needs. The day was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

Best tour ever! This was truly one of the best tours we have ever taken. The scenery was spectacular. Our driver (Theo) attended to all our needs (coffee, lunch, restrooms) to create a very relaxing and memorable experience. Such a rewarding day We had an absolutely incredible day with our guide George seeing these sights. It was obvious that he loves his job and is fascinated by history and culture. He was also so kind and attentive to my 8 year old son. It thought it might be too many sites to see in a day with a kid, but we both stayed interested the whole time and ended the day tired but happy. We are very grateful! Highly recommend.

Mr. George is too hip to be square Mr. George is a brilliant guide who doesn't just show you where history happened, but explains how it all connects to everything happening today—and makes you laugh out loud while doing it. Highlight of our holiday! Had the most fabulous evening with Theo. A very pleasant drive down whilst Theo chatted away about anything and everything from best things to do in Athens to local politics and Greek mythology. He couldn’t have done enough! Dinner was at a lovely seafood restaurant and the best bit of the evening was the ice cream stop! Had a thoroughly enjoyable trip, Couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend. Great trip Great side trip from Athens to see the lovely sunset from the Temple of Poseidon. Our driver and guide, George, was charming and well-informed across many topics, and did a stop along the way to show us a point of interest given our conversation en route. Gave us helpful advice on how to manage the queue at the monument as well.

Swim in the crystal clear Lake Vouligameni, see the Temple of Poseidon, gaze on beatiful beaches...take this tour, it is awesome My daughter and I had a great experience with Theo, our tour guide, on this lovely day tour. Theo picked us up at our hotel in Athens and we began the drive to Lake Vouligameni. Theo took us on a very scenic drive along the coastal highway. We saw some very beautiful beaches and marinas. Theo pointed out the new developments and showed us the beautiful boats and beaches along the way. We arrived at the lake and viewed it from an upper railing. Very beautiful and the waters looked tempting. Upon the advice of Theo, we decided to go to the Temple of Poseidon first in order to allow for the waters of the lake to benefit from a few hours of midday sun to heat up. We drove a bit more and stopped at Savalas for freddo cappucinos. Very nice place for coffee and the owner gave my daughter a bag of chocolate covered Greek raisins, so amazing. We continued on the Temple of Poseidon. Upon arriving, Theo waited in the parking lot while we bought our tickets and walked up to the temple. It was quite a sight. The temple was magnificent and after about 45 minutes of pictures and walking around, we returned to the parking lot. As we drove, Theo told us the stories associated with the Temple of Poseidon. He is a great storyteller and conversationalist. He also took several scenic turns and showed us the beauty of Greece's beaches several more times. Upon our second arrival at Lake Vouligameni, Theo left us at the entrance and we purchased our tickets and went in. It was not very busy on this Tuesday afternoon, so I found two chairs and waited while my daughter changed into her bathing suit. An attendant came by and left a menu for me. My daughter appeared and went down to the water for a chilly dip (It is early March after all!) She enjoyed the small fishes that gathered around her feet to give her a pedicure. The water is very clear and she swam for about 30 minutes before getting too cold and coming out to sit in the sun. We ordered some fries and beverages and spent about an hour here. After my daughter changed, we returned to the car. The final stop was at the Panorama Restaurant for a late lunch. My daughter and I had sea bass which was delicious and then baklava as a finishing dish. After the wonderful meal, Theo began the drive back to Athens. It was very pleasant day and Theo was a very pleasant guide and driver. Theo ended the ride at our hotel by giving my daughter a box of loukoumi which was a very nice treat! I highly recommend this tour and touring company. Be sure to ask for Theo, he is great.

Wonderful day in Meteora We had an excellent day visiting the Meteora monasteries. This area is unbelievable and pictures do not do it justice. We had an excellent driver, Theo. He was personable and knowledgeable, in all things Greek! We also enjoyed a traditional Greek meal in Kalabaka before we headed back to Athens. We would certainly contact Theo again when back in Athens.
