Delve into Greece’s rich history on this 3-day private tour from Athens. Discover the UNESCO-listed classical sites of Mycenae, Epidaurus, Delphi, Meteora and Hosios Loukas Monastery.

Traveling by private car, relax as you'll drive along the beautiful Saronic Gulf. After, drive into the Peloponnese to the atmospheric hilltop ruins of Mycenae, a fortified city from the second millennium BC. See the famous Lion’s Gate, Tomb of Agamemnon and Palace.

Later continue to another archaeological treasure, Epidaurus. Pick your way around the UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of Asklipios and ogle the age-old theater, a wonder of ancient architecture.

Take a unique walking tour at each site to learn about its past, and visit other top sights, such as the Corinth Canal. After all these top classical destinations, visit Nafplio, the most charming city of Greece. Stroll around its narrow alleys and bougainvillea trees and taste some of the best traditional dishes.

Hosios Loukas is a historic walled monastery situated near the town of Distomo, in Boeotia, Greece. It is one of the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art.

Once in Delphi, head to the UNESCO-listed mountainside archaeological site, one of Greece’s most significant.

Next, tour the ruins and shed light on the site’s oracle, an ancient priestess who conveyed messages from the god Apollo. Admire the Temple of Apollo and other monuments, and then visit the Archaeological Museum to view its artifacts, including the Charioteer of Delphi and Sphinx of Naxos.

The next day visit Meteora, the UNESCO world heritage listed monasteries. Meteora means "middle of the sky", and with their exalted heights and almost mystical inaccessibility, the Metéora monasteries seem to soar towards heaven and reflect the human striving for holiness. Take a unique walking tour at each monastery to learn about its rich past.

As you return back to Athens, stop to admire the Leonidas Statue in Thermopyles, where the glorious '300' fought bravely for 2 days in an unfair battle with the Persians.

In your private trip, top boutique hotel accommodation, breakfast and pickup/drop off service with luxury vehicle are included. Your private experienced driver will be more than happy to share recommendations, insights about the life in Greece and many historical facts and ancient myths.
