Excellent and very relaxing Our guide, Melina, was so warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The lake was incredible and very relaxing!

Fun and relaxing tour We had such a fun and relaxing time at the lake. Great water temperatures and the little fish are a fun and energizing experience. The views at the Temple of Poseidon are magnificent followed by a yummy meal at a local restaurant. Melina, our tour guide, is delightful and her knowledge of the area is expansive. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

A great experience with fantastic views We had a great tour with Crispy Local. They arranged for a driver (George) and a guide, Seriana there at the monasteries. We were able to customize our tour slightly due to a prior commitment but still managed to visit multiple monasteries, Thermopylae, and have a delicious lunch in Meteora. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and the monasteries. Even though it was a long day, it didn't seem like it. I would highly recommend this tour to a group looking to see Greece beyond Athens.

An amazing experience !!! The lake experience was absolutely amazing and George, our Guide was fabulous 💖 We enjoyed the day very much.. it was lovely to wind down before we headed home. The little fish were fun, it was a relaxing feeling. The restaurant we were taken to for lunch was also fantastic, the good was delicious. I would highly recommend the excursion. We both loved how knowledgeable George was, he made us feel very welcome and comfortable, we felt we had known him for years😃George made an amazing day even better, 10 out of 10 🤩🤩🤩

Lovely What a lovely place. Lots of opportunity for relaxation, but book your choice of lounger, deck chair, etc. in advance as your preferred option might not be available if you just turn up. Staff were very professional. Well run and recommended.

A Beautiful Experience The views were amazing and Theo, our guide was excellent. Athens has much to offer, but it was a pleasure to experience a calmer and beautiful part of Greece. Theo was attentive and was concerned that we were comfortable and were able to enjoy the experience.

Meteora magic This tour offered exactly what we needed - transportation in comfort to a spectacular excursion in Meteora. Our driver was professional, informative and considerate. We had plenty of time to explore several of the monasteries in a setting with breathtaking views. Truly a unique way to spend our last day of our Greece vacation. After spending time exploring we were driven to town for a nice lunch.

Great tour! Had a great trip to Sounion with our driver/guide, Nick! It has been 34 years since we were last in Athens, and it was amazing to see how much the city and the towns along the coast drive to Sounion have changed! But the views of the coast and the site/temple of Posiedon are still fantastic! Nick was very engaging, knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this tour!

This is Sparta! Had an amazing time. Was able to visit the ancient site of Sparta and the archaeological museum before heading off to the majestic medieval town. Our driver Harry was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

Marvelousl sunset in Cape Sounion Milena was very good guide the tour was a nice experience we saw beautifull Atica's landscape and the marvelous sunset in Cape Sounion were is Poseidon's Temple Dinner was in a good locak restaurant with homemade flavors try the Moussaka!

Absolutely fabulous! I cannot recommend this tour enough. Worth every penny. 3 women travelling together. After researching tours, we chose Crispy Locals private tour because we could have our own private driver and separate rooms in upscale hotels (rather than a coach bus with 50 strangers and sharing rooms at 2 or 3 star hotels). Our driver Melina was friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Her enthusiasm and love of history really made the trip exceptional. The hotels were well situated and probably a 4-4.5 star by American standards. Food was excellent. We were able to customize the trip and take our time at the sites. We paid for private tour guides at the archeological sites and they were wonderful. All communications with Crispy Local were responded to promptly. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Relaxing day in the middle of our busy week. We had a good time on this excursion. It was the relaxing day that we needed mixed with some sightseeing. The lake was filled with the fishes that eat your dead skin At one point there were about 100 around me. I didnt mind but some people might. Our driver Giorgios was very nice and informative. The private car which drove us around was super comfortable. The views at Poiseidon's temple are stunning.

The highlight of our trip to Greece We had a great trip. Before we left we made plans with Crispy Local and they worked with us to ensure that our trip met all our expecations. Melina was wonderful and guided us through our journey. She was very responsive to requests we made and we were never rushed. At every location we asked to have a private guide knowledgeable with each specific area. We were not disappointed. The hotel selections were top of the line. Every hotel had breakfast included. If you come to Greece I think you will enjoy going to all of these locations. Olympia, Delphi,Meteora are very different and enriched our vacation. When we came back Melina our guide was always availble to give us advice and guidance. When we had flight cancellations Crispy Local and Melina were very responsive answering our emails late in the night to accomodate our new schedules. I highly recommend.

Wonderful experience Melina was fantastic and showed us her knowledge on f Greek mythology. We had a chance to taste one of the best ice cream places in Athens in the way back. She was engaging and friendly. She offered water and even picked us up from the airport as we were running late to make to our hotel due to our delayed flight from Santorini.

Perfect relaxing last day in Athens We had a great time with our driver Theo. He was very accommodating and knowledgable. The temple was beautiful and we spent nearly two hours at the lake. Theo’s food recommendations for lunch were impeccable. Highly recommend!

Totally Stunning Quite simply stunning and in our humble opinions up there with Angkor Wat and Machu Picchu as magnificent places to visit. Our Driver/ Guide Harry was excellent. He arrived at our hotel bang on time, drove safely for what was, after all, a long drive, and gave us lots of insight on both the destination and on life in Greece in general. The 3 monasteries he selected for us to visit were well worth it and he made sure that the routes chosen were ones suitable for us, an active couple in our mid 60's. For example some of the visitors at Ayia Barbara, faced a long climb in the heat to reach the entrance and were clearly suffering, while Harry dropped us at the top so our path was downhill all the way. Why other guides didn't give such consideration to their guests beats me. The restaurant for lunch was excellent, both food and value wise. You will not need a starter and a main believe me. One or the other will still have you in a food coma on the drive back to your hotel. The comfort stop at the Thermopylae Monument was a treat for me, although there isn't too much to see there TBH. All in all one of our treasured life memories

Temple of Poseidon and the sunset view are well worth the trip Nick was our driver, and his wealth of knowledge about not just the Temple of Poseidon but all of Athens and Greece, made our trip very enjoyable. Great view of the sunset.

Perfect sunset A peaceful and beautiful scenic ride out of the city along the seaside all the way to the temple in time for the setting sun. Giorgos was a great host making the trip convenient and recommending a great dinner at a local restaurant along the way back.

Amazing tour, great experience, wonderful sceneries The tour was amazing. We had a few hours before going to the airport so we decided to go for this tour and it really worth every minute. The temple of Poseidon is very beautiful . The view there is spectacular. Our guide was Melina , she made our trip more special by her knowledge. She is very informative answering all our questions and telling us interesting information and mythological stories . She was the best guide we had during our vacations in Greece .

Treat yourself to a unique experience! Anna & her Bio Farm is a treasure! Such a beautiful and special place. The tour was absolutely incredible and Anna’s dedication to her craft was highlighted only by her sharing it with us. The olive oil tasting has changed the way I will use & enjoy olive oil in the future. The organic meal was delicious and plentiful. Such a lovely way to spend time outside of the city. The Temple of Posideon is a bit further than the farm- but completely worth it! Our driver, Nick happily kept the conversation interesting and informative. Photo stops were offered as the views were stunning! I highly recommend this activity! The tour company who arranged the tour was very communicative and kept us advised of pick up times and quickly answered any questions we had when deciding if we wanted to book.

Southern Greek Adventure The trip is unique with beautiful views of the southern Greek mainland coast. So many lovely coastal beaches and communities. Breathtaking photo opportunies as we got close to Sounio and the Temple. The weather was tremendous and our guides Nathan was pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend to all!

Amazing day experience outside the city of Athens Had a great time getting the chance to travel a bit outside the city. Lake Vouliagmeni was beautiful and the setup there had a resort feel. Was great to relax there after a few days of exploring the city. Nathan was very informative and great chauffeur. Temple of Poseidon was also a great experience and after ward Nathan recommended a nearby testament for lunch with a perfect view of the temple that we loved! Would definitely recommend this experience to others as it made for a great day adventure!

Beautiful and Relaxing! Wonderful day with Nick! We were picked up at our hotel and itinerary as described. I reserved a cabana prior to trip via the Lake V site and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and swam along with cocktails and lunch for the first part of the day. Next leg of the trip to the temple was a nice coastal drive with gorgeous views! Everything was great! We would definitely recommend!

Worth the long drive Harry was great. We enjoyed that we could go at our own pace through the monasteries. They were busier than expected so it was nice to have the ability to pivot if we thought one was particularly crowded. It’s a long day but Harry was an incredible conversationalist.
