Great trip! We had a great trip to Delphi . The auto was spotless and our driver Yiannis was excellent and provided a lot of information about the area during the drive. The restaurant was exceptional. Definitely recommend.

Worth every penny Excellent driver and guide, by far our favorite experience of the trip! We took a drive down to Cape Sounio and John timed the drive just perfect so we could enjoy sunset there. 10/10 experience!

We were well looked after on our private day tour to Meteora Monasteries We booked the Meteora Monastries private day tour from Athens. We had good communication with the provider. Giorgos our driver, was great and helpful. He made very good suggestions to accommodate my injured ankle. We enjoyed our trip very much and Giorgos drove very well, it was a lovely smooth ride in the Mercedes sedan.

Perfect day! We had a lovely day with Giorgos! Pickup was easy, the car was very comfortable, and the conversation flowed. My husband and I learned some new greek words and had a lovely couple of hours at the lake (I would recommend booking chairs or daybeds through their site, they come with bar service and towels). We then headed to Poseidon’s Temple, and stopped at a family restaurant on the water for a wonderful lunch before resuming our journey. The temple was breathtaking! Our ride home was smooth, and drop off was just as easy as pickup. Would highly recommend anyone staying in the old town and trying so see more of the countryside of athens!

NOT TO BE MISSED! Words cannot adequately express our gratitude to Dimitris for an evening we will not soon store away to memories. From the moment we were picked up in a beautiful Mercedes SUV to the last goodbye of the evening—perfection. Dimitris is so kind and professional, and his love for Greece is evident. We learned a lot on our drive to the Cape, and he was waiting on us like royalty after the sunset. The temple and surrounding area is beautiful and tranquil—not to be missed. To cap off the evening, Dimitris took us to a family-owned seafood taverna on the water where we had the most delicious wine, octopus, and a grilled whole sea bream caught hours before—EXEMPLARY food, view, setting, and definitely the people. We will be back!

Great day trip from Athens! Such a great day trip from Athens! Our driver Nathan was so knowledgeable about the area and very friendly and professional. The lake was beautiful and the fish nibbling at your toes is a true experience. Nathan recommended a restaurant on the water which was very delicious and had beautiful views and after eating we headed to Poseidon’s temple. It’s quite small compared to the Parthenon, but we thought it was worth visiting as a good add on to the lake because it wasn’t too much further. Overall, we were super happy we took the trip. It was a very relaxing day and Nathan was great!

Poseidon’s Temple The experience was amazing and definitely worth the money. Having our own personal tour guide who gave us the ease of picking up and dropping off at our hotel was so convenient. The timing was perfect for sunset and the dinner afterwards was delicious with a beautiful view. My husband and I are so grateful we got to experience a tour like this on our honeymoon!

Beautiful sunset at Temple of Poisidon Tremendous evening sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. Great meal on the coast, and Theo our driver did a great job.. Maria also taught us a lot about the ancient history of the region. Fourth trip with Crispy Local. Will do more our next time back.

Fun time was had by all! Communication after booking was perfect and Harry our driver was great! He gave us great information and was a lot of fun. The Canal was amazing we got to see someone Bungy jump and the Ancient Corinth was way bigger than we thought a great museum. Had a wonderful lunch there as well. Would highly recommend this excursion.

Historical sites west of Athens Harry did a great job driving us to Monemvasia, a beautiful old village carved into the side of an island that's connected to the mainland by a short isthmus. On the way, we stopped in Sparta, where we walked around its Acropolis, and visited an excellent small museum about the history of olive oil. Harry added dimension to our tour with stories about life in Greece today. Thanks Harry!

Meteora day trip Very enjoyable trip to Meteora. Our driver, Harris was very engaging and full of information about the area and Greece. The ride was comfortable and beautiful scenery. Meteora is a must see/do, the breathtaking scenery and serene atmosphere is a nice retreat from the busy city of Athens. Harris, our driver, also brought us to a local restaurant that had great food and service. Highly recommended this beautiful tour.

So much fun! Melina was a great tour guide. She talked to us about Greek history and archaeology the whole time. We learned so much and we’re entertained. Didn’t feel like a three hour round-trip. She patiently waited for us and offered us dinner and ice cream on the way back. Would definitely recommend!

Sunset experience Our driver Nathan was amazing, very knowledgable of the area and it’s history. Sunset over temple was breathtakingly beautiful. Nothing was too much bother and he truly wanted us to have an amazing experience which we did - highly recommended.

Athens Private wine tour What a wonderful day! Our driver Dimitris was extremely knowledgeable of the area and so pleasant. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Markou winery and really enjoyed the wine tasting with the fruit and cheese pairing. So sad many of these aren’t available in the states. The grounds were beautiful and our sommelier was friendly and very knowledgeable. The 2nd winery was equally as pleasant and surprising in a residential area. We thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful pairings of bruschetta, sausage and cheeses with each variety. The sparkling wine was delightful. We were greeted by several members of this family run winery which only added to the warm and made the experience more inviting. We loved this private tour for our family group and would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys wine.

10 thumbs up Absolutely loved this tour….the lake was a great experience with the little fish tickling you…The drive along the coastline was beautiful, I def recommend this company for the lake and the temple. Our driver, Nathan was an awesome guy, he had so much knowledge and it was a great convo during the drive. And go eat at 4 Aderfia, great food and hospitality from employees and met Costa the owner, bless them all….Definitely 10 thumbs up

Great experience The trip went very well and the sunset was stunning. Leaving the city a little after 5pm is just enough time to enjoy some sceneries and to get to the location close to sunset time. Our driver Giorgos was very punctual, nice and pleasant. He made great recommendations too in terms of activities and day trips from the city.

Favorite Family Trip! By far one of my favorite memories from our trip to Athens. Theo was an amazing guide who felt like a friend by the end of the trip. Our family enjoyed the drive along the coastline and the Temple at sunset was a dream! We finished with a delicious dinner (recommend the whole fish)and ice cream! Cannot recommend this excursion enough!!

Mixed review George was a wonderful driver. He had lots of information along the drive. The lack of paid admission should be better posted in description (rather than only in “Included” tab). I did expect him to join us at the Temple to describe the site. I did not realize we would be left on our own. There was no stop for waffles & ice cream.

Wonderful Private Excursion to Delphi! Our trip was wonderful! From the time Dimitris picked us up at our hotel until the time he took us back, he was professional, informative, courteous, and friendly. He told us much about Delphi & Greece, and answered all of our questions. Having private transportation was convenient & comfortable. Delphi was great - so was our included lunch and stop in Arachova, as well as our travel with Dimitris. Highly recommend!

Great experience Very professional driver and clean, A/C car. Be aware this is more of a transportation service than an actual tour because they do not come with you to the temple or the thermal spa. They took extra time to allow us to eat and they brought us to a great restaurant on the water. Highly recommend.

Private Tour zum Sonnenuntergang am Poseidon-Tempel Ich wurde um 17:30 am Hotel abgeholt, es gibt mit dem Fahrer zum Kap Sounion (rund 70km von Athen) zum Poseidon-Tempel. Der Zeitpunkt variiert wegen Sonnenuntergang, 17:30 war Anfang September. Wir waren - mit einem Fotostopp -gegen 19:00 am Tempel, noch in der Abendsonne, gegen 19:45 ging die Sonne unter, sobald die Sonne untergegangen ist, wird der Stätte geschlossen. Perfektes Timing, ausreichend Zeit (es gibt jenseits dem Tempel nicht so viel zu sehen). Auf der Fahrt haben wir uns sehr gut unterhalten, von griechischen Göttern, dem Poseidon-Tempel, über Griechenland allgemein. Die Tour ist natürlich teurer als eine Bustour, dafür gibt es eine persönliche Betreuung (auch im Vorfeld), die man den "Discount"-Angeboten nicht kennt. Der Fahrer bleibt im Auto, man muss den Eintritt für den Tempel vor Ort zahlen (20€), das ist transparent kommuniziert. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wonderful Experience! Had the most wonderful experience with Nathan. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guide. He shared a lot of history about the Temple of Poseidon and Greek history overall. Clean and comfortable car and a great, safe driver. Would book him again immediately if I needed another tour in the area.

Excellent Private Tour and Terrific Dining Giorgos was an amazing guide to all things Greek. In addition to taking us to the lakeside spa and Poseiden's Temple, he was an incredible conversationalist and offered us a deep look into Greece's history, culture, and politics. We learned so much! Perhaps one of the highlights was when he took us to an empty seaside restaurant because he knew the owner. The owner's brother fished in the morning and we got to choose which fresh catch we wanted charcoal grilled and served so fresh with only olive oil and lemon -- it was the best fish I've ever had. Oh and we got treated to a bountiful table of Greek salad and grilled zucchini and tzaziki. Amazing and quiet by the Aegean Sea. A few provisos...this tour does NOT cover the cost of the Lake Vouliagmani resort, nor lunch, nor the entrance to Poseiden's Temple. Combined that was another $300 so keep that in mind. However a private all day tour is worth it.

An Amazing Athens Experience for the Whole Family We had such a great experience on this tour of Athens. Theo was a fantastic driver, really friendly and helpful, and made getting around the city very easy and comfortable. Ada was an amazing guide, especially with our kids, who are very passionate about Greek mythology. She immediately got them engaged and made the stories and history really interesting for them. She was incredibly knowledgeable but also very warm and fun, and was happy to answer all their questions. We saw so much in one day and got to experience Athens in a way we definitely wouldn’t have managed on our own. Theo and Ada were both wonderful and really made the day special. We would absolutely recommend this tour!

Nafplio and ancient sites This tour was way beyond expectations. The agenda was excellent and seamless. The locations were breathtaking and straight from a page of a movie. The tour operator was extremely professional and super helpful. The Tour guide Theo was excellent so friendly, knowledgeable accommodating and kind. This is the 4th tour I booked with this company and 4th time with Theo as my guide. I am only using them when I come back every summer.
