Excellent day trip from Athens Our driver, Mr. George, was a wonderful, knowledgeable, and entertaining conversationalist who made the lengthy drive a delight. The Delphi site and museum are well worth seeing.

Sunshine through the rain We had a lovely day with Harry. The weather wasn’t cooperating with our plans but we didn’t let that keep us from having fun. The drive to the lake was quick and filled with lots to see as we passed through the suburbs of Athens. Once we arrived at the lake, we decided it was too chilly and windy for our taste. So we looked around, took some photos and headed on toward Poseidon’s temple. We really enjoyed the scenic highway on the Aegean Sea coast. The water was so blue. Our guide, Harry even pulled over so we could get out of the car at a safe overlook site. Got some very pretty pictures. The Temple of Poseidon was very commanding and had nice interpretive markers plus a digital code that gave an audio tour of the site. The 20 Euro per person entry seemed high for the value of what was there. But we were not coming all that way to not pay and see it up close. The gift shop was closed when we were there, so no souvenir shopping. Their very scenic cafe was open. It served drinks and snacks. We used the restroom facilities and they were very clean. The ride back to Athens was filled with delightful conversation with Harry. We discussed Greek history, food, family traditions and even learned a few Greek words. Harry is such a kind and caring guide. He was very concerned that the weather was adversely affecting our tour. What can any of us do about rainy weather? We assured him we were fine and ready to head back to our hotel. We rode through one of the fancier neighborhoods south of Athens. Got to see some cute shops and restaurants. We decided not to get out of the car due to rain. Harry safely returned us to our hotels and we dashed inside to avoid getting wet. We would definitely take this tour again - but hopefully it would be on a sunnier day!

Must see Meteora with Johnathan from Crispy Local We had an amazing experience going to Meta aura in Greece. Nathan was our driver and our tour guide. He’s only in his 20s, however his knowledge and his travel guiding was like an old soul that had traveled many years. He was informative about the area history as well as world history, which added so much to our trip. He knew history he was friendly. He was polite and car was very clean. . He drove very safely and he knew so much history about the entire country of Greece as well as the place we were visiting, which is Meteora monasteries. that place is beautiful. I would strongly go there again. Everyone should see the beautiful mountains and monasteries at the top. It is a strenuous walk but worth every minute of it. We were happy with the entire experience. It exceeded our expectations.

Great experience for a first time trip to Greece Our guide was beyond exceptional. Told us and showed us so many interesting things along the way to our destinations. Introduced us to an excellent restaurant with fresh caught fish by the owner of the business, also introduced us to freddo espressos. Would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

The BEST experience and the most Beatiful sites Wonderful and the most beautiful experience! Dimitris picked us up from our hotel and told us all about Athens on our way to see monasteries at meteora! We went to 3 and learned a lot and got a great work out. Lunch was at a spot he recommended and it was delicious we had two local dishes he recommended. He then dropped us off with a special gift. It was the best excursions I’ve booked ever!

Excursion rocks! This is a must do if you are in Athens. This was our favorite excursion that we did while we were in Athens. We spent three nights four days there. It also was the best meal we had there by far. Highly recommend trying to get Theo as your guide.

Amazing trip to Meteora Harry was an absolutely amazing guide and driver! Despite the tour lasting 12 hours, the journey never felt long or tiring. Harry kept us engaged throughout with enlightening conversations, fascinating historical insights, and thorough explanations of the monasteries of Meteora. His knowledge, passion, and engaging personality made the entire experience truly special. Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, and Harry played a huge part in making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

Memorable and worthwhile experience with a great guide Extremely enjoyable and memorable trip with our driver Theo. He stopped at many points of interest on the Athenian Riviera as we made our way to the Temple of Poseidon. Lovely visit at the Temple. Great seaside dinner on our return home. Very worthwhile experience, which I highly recommend. We hope to have Theo as our guide on future trips.

Cape Sounio & Temple Of Poseidon Great experience Great experience!!!! Mr George picked us up at the hotel we were staying at right on time. He was extremely polite professional and extremely knowledgeable. We had such a great time took us on a private tour to Cape Sounio & Temple Of Poseidon. Wonderful day visiting monasteries! From beginning to end a wonderful experience! The monasteries are absolutely amazing. Dimitris our guide was incredibly helpful and basically dropped us off at the entrance to each one. There is quite a climb up stairs to get to the monasteries that are perched high on rocky outcroppings, so be prepared. It is well worth the effort! We also stopped at an incredible overlook that is not to be missed. After a full morning seeing the sights we relaxed in town for a delicious lunch. Dimitris was very friendly and ego. I only feel bad that I fell asleep on the ride back to Athens! Overall a great experience!! Highly recommend

Great guide. Great time! Our driver/guide George was amazing. George knew so much about the history of the excursion and current state of the country. We have been to Athens last year but never was able to travel south or west. This is a must do if you haven’t traveled outside of the city

Amazing!!! I have been to Athens a number of times and don't really have an interest to continue to spend time in Athens. This trip I had a first time traveler with me and he wanted to stay in Athens to see a bit of Athens. I wanted to try to see something new, I add this trip to our agenda. It was amazing!!! The colors were unbelievable and spectacular. A must see sunset!

A brilliant tour of the Acropolis 🏛️ and museum From the moment we met up with our guide Anda we felt as if we were meeting up with a good friend. She was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable, bringing Ancient Greece to life for us. Our tour was 4 hours in pretty difficult weather conditions but Anda kept us interested and amused the whole time. We were a group of 10 friends and at the end of the tour we all agreed she had whetted our appetites to delved deeper into Greek mythology and culture. Thank you Anda and Crispy Local, we hope we have an excuse to use your services again.

Totally worth it A fantastic trip to the Temple of Poseidon: stunning views, an incredible setting, and absolutely worth the journey from Athens. George, our guide, made the experience even better. He was knowledgeable and also very relaxed and easy to talk to. Rather than simply delivering facts, he was a genuinely good conversationalist, which made the history and context much more engaging. Pretty cool guy overall and great company for the trip. Would definitely recommend both the experience and the guide.

Guide went above and beyond and found the perfect spot and photographed our proposal! 100/10 recommend this Tour! Our guide Theo went above and beyond. He was lovely to talk to and I had messaged the couple letting them know I was planning to propose to my partner, they relayed the message to my guide and Theo found the perfect spot for it and took photos of the proposal! Couldn’t have been a more perfect day!

A magical journey we’ll NEVER forget!!! Sunset at Cape Sounion was AWESOME! What a place! And what a perfect ending to our stay in Athens. It was a whole other side of our Athens trip we hadn’t seen or even knew existed. The coastline drive is gorgeous, and Theo is absolutely the BEST tour guide of all time! We will use him again anytime we return and plan to recommend him and this sunset dinner trip to The Temple of Poseidon to everyone we know. Just a magical day and evening made so special by a delightful, personable and informed ambassador. He went out of his way for us at every turn to ensure this was a truly memorable experience for my wife and me. SO thankful we booked this trip!!! Thank you.

10/10 sunset view + relaxing car + good tour The private tour Sounio tour was fantastic! I really loved and enjoyed it — the sunset view at the Temple of Poseidon was truly beautiful. My guide, Nathan was professional, very kind, and incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable about the various histories, myths, and contemporary life of Greek culture. He was a fantastic guide with lots of information on economy to geography — and I highly appreciated his perspective. The car was very nice, and I appreciated the good dinner recommendation. Overall, a fantastic tour and will recommend it to my friends and family! :)

Temple of Poseidon Thanks for our great evening with you earlier, Theo, it has been truly memorable. We have had a great few hours, and have seen some amazing places, most of all the Temple of Poseidon with the amazing sunset. To top it all off was our fantastic dinner. A nice drive, view & dinner It was a lovely drive to the southern end of Athens. The Poseidon temple was great to see at sunset, finished off with a nice dinner at a beautiful setting on the way home. The driver was patient and accommodating.

Sonnenuntergang Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Tour zum Poseidon-Tempel mit Melina. Schon auf dem Weg dorthin hat sie uns viele spannende und interessante historische Fakten erzählt, wodurch die Fahrt sehr kurzweilig war. Am Poseidon-Tempel angekommen, konnten wir einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Da wir anschließend nicht besonders großen Hunger hatten, hat Melina uns zu einem leckeren Eisladen gebracht, wo wir Waffeln mit Eis essen konnten. Wir hätten alternativ auch die Möglichkeit gehabt, zum Dinner zu gehen, aber für uns war das Eis genau das Richtige. Danach hat Melina uns wieder zurück zu unserem Hotel gebracht. Das war besonders angenehm, da es schon spät am Abend war und wir so nicht mehr mit der Metro zurückfahren mussten. Vielen Dank, Melina, für den schönen Abend.

Awesome private tour with a knowledgeable guide A great experience from beginning to end. Both the owner and our driver had excellent communication leading up to the trip and the day of the tour. We had no worries we would be picked up on time and in the right location. Dimitris was our driver. He has clear communication and is very knowledgeable and was open to answering our many questions. He also made stops when we requested and he suggested a stop at one point. This gave a brief and much appreciated respite from the long drive. We had plenty of time at each monastery to explore, take pictures and enjoy the history and views. Dimitris brought us to a restaurant after the tour and the food was incredible! This is a higher priced tour, but considering the long day, the personal touches, and the knowledge he shared with us, we all agreed it was well worth it. Thanks for a great day and a great tour!
