Amazing!! We loved our private day tour of Temple of Poseidon and the thermal lake! Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable (Dimitris) about Athens. We had plenty of time to explore the temple, and also plenty of time at the lake. The food lunch stop recommendation from our driver was perfect! We stopped at a restaurant and had a delicious lunch, and he recommended an amazing place in Athens that we went to following his recommendation. Would highly recommend this trip to others!

Perfect first day in Athens! This was the perfect trip for the first day in Athens. We rested up on the morning and then had a beautiful drive along the coast with George. He grew up in the area and was extremely knowledgeable about local history and events. Sunset at the Temple of Zeus was the highlight, but dinner with an ocean view, seafood, wine, and a gellato stop were also amazing. Thanks for the memorable evening!

A relaxing and unforgetable experience We had a fantastic experience. Harry our tour guide was very friendly, conversational, and made us feel extremely taken care of.We started the trip with a visit to the lake, our tour guide was very patient with us and let us take close to 3 hours at the site, then we headed straight for the Temple of Poseidon, though were offerred the option to stop for a lunch break before (we decided to do so after the temple).The trip was easy, the experience at the lake and temple were unforgetable. Highly recommend this tour option! Many thanks to Harry for making this an amazing experience in Greece!

Wonderful Private Day Trip to Meteora My friend’s and my trip to from Athens to Meteora was wonderful thanks to Giorgos of Crispy Local. He was so warm and personable, prompt picking us up (in a Mercedes) and was always around quickly to pick up us at every Monastary (a commendable feat). He also took the time to figure out what kind of restaurant we would like in Kalambaka (Greek Gardenia restaurant was perfect for us) and even recommended a small gem museum in town which we liked. We appreciated that he “read” our personalities and offered appropriate suggestions. We didn’t want to be on a typical bus tour with a set schedule; Georgios gave us the customized and comfortable outing that we were hoping for. While much more expensive, we felt it was well worth it and highly recommend Crispy Local for any of your private tour needs.

Nice cap Sounio family trip Our trip to Sounio was a very nice expérience. We had time to walk around the temple, to enjoy the sun set and Take pictures. The way along the coast was wonderfull and the restaurant had a very nice view on the illuminated Poseidon temple.The driver was on Time. We really appreciate Harry,s kindness and availibility and all his explanations about Greek civilisation, culture and way of Life. We recommand this expérience.

Amazing temple and trip! Very underrated, but the best temple outside of the Parthenon I visited. In addition to the site itself, the tour guide was the best I had while in Greece. The overall highlight of my trip for sure, and highly recommend!

Highly recommend Our ride with Theo was amazing. We asked for a different pickup location and he obliged. On the way to the temple, he told us about the area and pointed out restaurants to try. At the temple, he took several photos of us (because we asked) and then said, “see you in an hour!” so that we could enjoy at our own pace. On the way back, we stopped at a delicious restaurant for saganaki, zucchini, fish and salad. Would absolutely book again.

Melina the best Guide ever! Viator came through again! We went to the museum and the temple of Apollo. Our lovely guide Melina picked us up at our Viking ship, and drove us up and back, roughly a 9 hour excursion . She is so knowledgeable about history, the Greek Gods and knew the where specific artifacts are in the museum. She truly cared about our experience.

Shop around before choosing If you just want to go to the islands for a few minutes, I would look at other options. You aren't in port long at each place, but then we knew that and it is a long day. The buffet was cold and really wasn't worth the added cost. The live show at night was good and very entertaining. Spend your money and choose 1 island to go to and spend the day. If you've seen one island, you've seen most of them.

Corinth for Corinthians! Its marvelous! For once in your life, if you happen to be in Greece, take this trip to Corinth and nearby places. The tour took us on a smooth ride to Corinth, Mycanae and all the interesting places along the way. After which, a sumptous lunch in Nafplios where some of the rich and famous dock their yacths. Paired with a wonderful driver (George), it made the trip more wonderful with his sense of humor and tales of life in Greece. It surely is a trip of a lifetime.

A great daytrip for a solo traveller A great daytrip to see parts of the Pelopennese. The visit to ancient Corinth and Akrocorinth were a highlight as you arrive before the crowds. The train ride was great - scenery was beautiful. Lunch was delicious and the tavern had great atmosphere. The cave tour was shorter than expected, but at the end of a long day that was actually okay. My driver Antony was professional, polite, and informative.

Private tour of cape sonio, Posiden's temple, and seaside restaurant We had an amazing time with Theo. His positive wisdom embraced the fullness of what Greek history reminds us to keep at heart and practice today what was embraced and taught so many years ago from democracy to philosophy, poetry, etc. He really put the personal touches on our private tour to an amazing extent. He went above with gestures and kindness. The history and scenery of cape sonio and Posiden's temple to the fabulous seaside dinner. It truely was the best day ever! Thank you Theo!

An awe-inspiring day with a delightful driver We had a wonderful experience today! George was a fantastic driver and conversationalist. He made the very long day go by quickly. Of course, Meteora is awe-inspiring and Georgina was so knowledgeable. The restaurant George chose for us was lovely and the food was an exceptional local taverna where we left stuffed and quite happy!We will never forget this day!

The Perfect Day! This private tour was amazing! Our driver Theo was prompt and courteous during the entire day. He communicated with us the day before and confirmed the pick up time. He arrived early and was waiting for us to arrive. We were picked up in a gorgeous black SUV that was clean and well maintained. The drive from Athens was simply breathtaking at moments. The views of the ocean, mountains, and small towns along the way were stunning. Theo made the drive even more wonderful with his knowledgeable commentary and overall extremely friendly personality. Lake Vouliagmeni is a site not to be missed. The views from Poseidon Temple can’t adequately be described in words. You need to see it for yourself. On the return to Athens, we stopped for lunch at an amazing seaside restaurant. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. Such an amazing day!!

No care for guests at all or their experience very unprofessional and rude I am not new to booking experiences via Viator, Tripadvisor or Expedia. I have traveled hundreds of times and by far this was the most unprofessional, rude vendor i have ever dealt with. I do not recommend Crispy local at all they ruined our experience. It started off with me booking this experience 5+ months ago, my husband and i were in Athens for two nights pre cruise and wanted a special memorable experience on the night before we boarded the ship. I researched hard to find what i thought was the best one. This experience was WAY more EXPENSIVE then the other similar tours but it included Dinner hence i felt it was worth it and we purposefully selected the dinner option when booking. After booking i went in and printed the itinerary that shows clearly that the dinner was included and the price we paid and i still have that evidence today. Generally after booking you receive a confirmation or welcome email from the vendors, i received nothing, i even tried following up and reach out out to the vendor, of which i got no replies (i have that evidence as well). I said to my husband prior to traveling that i was concerned, however since we had done things like this before i left it alone and when we were in Athens i called the vendor the day of the experience. Upon calling the vendor i asked to confirm that we were booked for 530 as per the agenda for september pickup and that everything was ok. The vendor was rude on the phone said no its 5 and we should be ready and acted like i was bothering him or wasting his time. We rushed to get ready and the driver picked us up at 5. About 1/2 away from our hotel in the car the driver indicates our package had an option for dinner, i corrected him and said i paid for the dinner, he was polite and said that he would check with the office cause he was told we did not select that option. That is what started an hour of back and forth between the driver and the office or owner all in greek of which i was able to pick up lots of what they were saying. The owner was rude, crass and saying he did not care what evidence i had (the driver was taking pictures and sending it to him) and that the driver was to tell us to go after expedia that he was not providing dinner and that it was not his problem. The owner then proceeded to tell the driver that we only had two options, take us back to the hotel and refund us 1/2 of what we paid for the experience or deal with the evening without dinner and if we wanted it we had to pay for it ourselves. I asked several times to talk to him directly in english because this was all happening over speaker phone between the driver and owner but the owner was refusing to talk to me directly. I reminded the driver we were the clients and that he is black mailing us and threatening to ruin the night we have been planning for over 5+ months and i had all the confirmation evidence in front of me clearly indicating what was included, if they changed their package since my booking that is not my fault. My husband tried to tell me we would make the best of it and the driver did what he could to try to make the experience nice but given the way we were treated, what was said about us by the owner, my husband and i were absolutely disgusted and the entire evening was ruined. I do not recommend this vendor at all, they have no customer service and do not care about anyone. The restaurant that we went to and pay for ourselves out of pocket was lovely, i would recommend the restaurant and the driver but not this company at all. They don't care about you or customer service. Be very cautious there are many many local vendors our there that care about their clients and provide great service and resolution and this is not one of them in my opinion.

Highly Recommend Cape Sounio and Temple of Poseidon What a fantastic way to end our visit to Athens by seeing the Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. A beautiful location on the Aegean Sea coast that was breathtakingly magnificent.What made this visit even more memorable was our driver and guide, Melina. Her love for her country, culture and history was reflected in her detailed explanations about the area and sights. Melina is a true historian which made this experience so enlightening and unique. I wish we had more time with her for other tours.Positively recommend this tour and Melina!!Peggy R.
